Hi all,

I am new to the sport and to the site. Sadly my time here will be short as I am moving to Vancouver. Which is great, but it means I will need to get rid of some of my kit.
I have for sale 2 home made trestles.
I have been using them as shown in the photos but I cannot make any guarantees as to the safety of this system so I leave it up to the buyers discretion and common sense as to the best way to use these trestles.

Having said that, I have been using it all winter without problem. The longest line I have set up is about 10 metres. Anything longer will need trees or better anchor points I suspect.

The trestles are needlessly over engineered and are very strong.
I don't want these to end up in the dump, so best offer wins, buyer collects (from Ashford Middlesex nr. Heathrow).

I hope someone can give these a good home.

Chris

How exactly do these work in setting up a line?

So you use it for a short line and don't tension it? Also how do you anchor it to the ground?

They are good if you have low anchors like car bumpers, or trees or bushes which aren't too big and sturdy and you put slings round the base to reduce leverage.

If they are well built you can tension a line over A-frames/trestles.
